Jordan Jesse Go! is a podcast hosted by Jesse Thorn of The Sound of Young America and FuelTV’s Jordan Morris. I’ve been listening to the show since episode 1 of The Untitled Thorn Morris Project, and the its brought unparalleled laughter to my life.
Early last year I did a goofy hyphy mash-up of the show’s theme song, Love You by The Free Design. I looped up a simple piece of their song, added my own drums and laid an accapella by The 40 Water Federation over top. People on the message board liked it, and it got a mention on episode 56 when I called in to talk about a fulfilled sex dream, only to chicken out half way through and hang up.
jordan-jesse-go/podcast-jordan-jesse-go-ep-56-threesomeThis past week they unveiled the beta version of Jordan Jesse Game! A flash platform game based on lots and lots of inside jokes from the show. I’d spoken to the creator about including the song in the game, but it was an amazing surprise when I went to check it out and heard the mash up as the game’s title screen music.
The game is just as fucking awesome as the show, and its a huge honor to be a part of it. Not only that, but I’m listed in the credits with Jordan, Jesse, and John fucking Hodgman.

It holds little value other than kitsch, but I do really like those drums. In 05 or 06 when I did that drum pattern, ALT said “it sounds like jiggy music.” How right you are ALTy.
